The territorialization of Bogotá’s District Care System through the service cluster known as Manzanas de Cuidado (Care Blocks), is based on the articulation between new facilities that provide care services and those already existing, thus forming the so-called ‘care networks’. This article analyzes, from the perspective of feminist urbanism, the implementation of the program between 2020 and 2023 in the locality of San Cristóbal. Based on the review of planning documents and interviews with officials, leaders and caregivers, we identify urban impacts and advances in the recognition and redistribution of care, as well as tensions in interinstitutional articulation and challenges in the materialization of urban planning that places care and sustainability of life at the center.
