Boisier and Silva incursion on the difficult issue of national economic policy appraisal from a regional point of view. To the extent that some part of regional growth (or decline) deal with the impact that national economic policies maintain over the region, the studies on this topic should have a great importance. The authors try to measure the industrial employment impact during the 70's in two industrial regions. Preliminary conclusions show the different regional reaction to this kind of instruments.
